The short version

Impasse does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app

has no network permission, no account, and no sign-in. Nothing you do in it

leaves your device.

What the app stores

Impasse saves the following on your device only:

• Which daily puzzles you have solved, and in how many moves
• Your daily streak and your best streak
• Your skill rating and personal bests
• Your settings: sound, music, vibration, and theme

This information is written to the app's private storage area on your phone. It

is never uploaded, never backed up to us, and is not readable by other apps.

What the app does not do

• It does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts
• It does not use your location
• It does not contain analytics, tracking, or advertising software
• It does not require an internet connection, and does not request permission

to use one

• It does not create an account or profile

Sharing your result

If you choose to share a puzzle result, Impasse hands the text to your phone's

own share sheet. You pick the app it goes to. Impasse does not send it anywhere

itself and does not keep a copy.

Vibration

Impasse requests the VIBRATE permission so it can provide touch feedback.

This permission cannot access any information about you, and vibration can be

turned off in Settings.

Children

Impasse is suitable for all ages and contains no material unsuitable for

children. Because it collects no information whatsoever, it collects none from

children either.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling Impasse permanently removes everything it has stored. There is

nothing held elsewhere, so there is nothing for you to request the deletion of.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Impasse introduces anything that collects or transmits

information — for example optional rewarded adverts — this policy will be

updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here.
